SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — On June 12, 2026, Eagle’s Nest Apartments experienced a significant fire that resulted in the displacement of several residents. While the event had a substantial impact on the community, Tzadik Management is pleased to report that there were no injuries or loss of life.

Since the fire occurred, Tzadik Management teams have worked closely with local fire, police, and EMS personnel, as well as the American Red Cross, to assist displaced residents and support the ongoing investigation. From the earliest moments of the response, our teams have focused on coordinating resources, communicating with residents, and helping ensure those affected receive the support they need during this difficult time.

The American Red Cross has been an invaluable partner throughout this effort, aiding with immediate needs including temporary housing, medications, pet-related necessities, food, and other essential resources. Their rapid response helped ensure displaced residents had access to critical support in the hours immediately following the fire.

The well-being of residents remains Tzadik Management’s highest priority. As of today, one resident has been evicted following the incident. Of the five other displaced households, three have already moved into new apartments this week, and the remaining two are scheduled to move next week. Tzadik Management is especially pleased that one resident, who has called the community home for more than 25 years, has secured another apartment and will remain a valued member of the Eagle’s Nest community.

Tzadik Management continues to actively assist displaced households with housing options. The company is also cooperating fully with investigators and insurance representatives as they complete their assessments of the property and remains dedicated to providing any information necessary to help determine the cause of the fire.

Throughout this process, Tzadik Management’s goal has been to provide leadership, reassurance, and support to both the residents directly affected and the broader Eagle’s Nest community. The company recognizes the emotional impact this event has had on many individuals and wants residents to know they are not facing these challenges alone.

Tzadik Management sincerely appreciates the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by first responders, emergency personnel, the American Red Cross, and the company’s on-site and corporate team members, who have worked tirelessly since the incident occurred.
